What to do if after a minor accident if your auto insurance rate is higher?

You can try to claim through the Motor Insurers' Bureau for personal injury even though you can't trace the driver. Alrthough it is possible that by bringing yourself to the attention of the police/courts someone might question your overstay in the UK...

Its bad, You can also hire personal injury lawyers, they are devoted to holding guilty parties responsible in car accident, truck accident, motorcycle accident, slip and fall, premises liability and wrongful death cases.

The best thing to do is to seek legal advice, solicitors specifically focussed on road traffic accidents and they will talk you through the whole process and help you to the best of their ability.

Hope it all gets sorted out for you

Yes I agree with this. You must clarify your stay at UK. Then you may be able to claim under the law of GOVT.
