court in a week and panicing.please help?

i am a week off court for a back injury claim at work, and my solicitors insurers have pulled out saying the case is less than 50/50 chance off winning.
this has left me the the prospects off paying the cost off a barrister and the other sides court cost if i was to loose which could be around £6000. i cannot afford this, but want to pursue my case as i know im telling the truth and have made no fabrications.
i dont know wether to drop the case and not risk the cost or see it through to the end.

also the opposing side are trying to use evidence and statments from 2 years after the fact and accident.. is this allowed??

an information would be apprecaited thanks

I think first of all you should request to court for some time. And also you have to look for a good and honest solicitors who can easily handle your case.
