    expired food bought in tesco

Hi, yesterday I bought some reduced carrot batons for salads in Tesco. Today I felt bit strange and checked that carrots I bought was expired by one day. It says on packaging use by. Problem was that reduction label was labeled on top of expiry date. How do you think guys if it is possible to sue something from them? I do have receipt and packaging.

Firstly, it was reduced! They put reduced stickers on items that are nearing their use-by date.
Secondly, you felt a bit strange?! Try telling that to a lawyer. Where's your proof? Did you go to a doctor or were you actually poisoned? You have no case.
Thirdly, carrots do not go off that quickly and they are highly unlikely to poison you.

If you feel slighted, the best you can hope for is a refund from Tesco. Good luck.

Its a common fact that reduced items are always near to expire may be for 1 day or2 and while purchasing you know this thing, so how could you be eligible to claim on the store management.
