    Question Reduced earnings

    Hello

I was medically retired from my career approx 11 years ago and was awarded an Industrial injuries pension [ 30% ]and consequently awarded Reduced earnings allowance when I was shortly re-employed by a different employer

I have recently been offered a Voluntary Redundancy which I have accepted as my health has further deteriorated. My final day of employment is in a few weeks albeit I have been off sick since August and am "signed off" by my Dr beyond that date.

I have contacted the "DWP" and filled in the 52 page document for ESA. I am unemployable now due to my existing and degenerating health. This is supported by my GP

I am concerned that I will lose the REA as I will not be employed. My understanding of REA is that you have to be receiving a WAGE, which of course I will not, lower than that which was in existance when I was initially injured.

Is it a likely scenario that my REA would be at risk ......

    Many thanks
