Court order

I had a court order granted against me yesterday for repossession of my car as I failed to make the balloon payment, the car company refused my numerous offers of a lump sum then a monthly payment above what I had been paying them. The sheriff also said as well as them taking car back I still have to pay the balloon payment plus expenses, this is the part I don't get. Is there any point me appealing this? I hope someone can help me I forgot to say I'm in Scotland, not sure if law is different
