Campaigning Online UK - Law and Rights

    Hi

Firstly thanks for offering free advice on this forum. Hope you can provide me some advice on the below.

Will try to keep this story short

I have setup a website to campaign against a large non public firm. I experienced issues
with my vehicle and found that I am not the only one experiencing the issue.

I contacted the company who said it was not a common fault and no reports had been logged. Doing a search on the Internet I found thousands are experiencing the same issue but the company does not want to know.

I published my story on my site for others to read and asked other drivers to log their issue with the company and if no help was given to contact Watch Dog UK and trading standards. Since setting up the site I have had hundreds of comments from people around the world experiencing the same issue.

    My question is:

Is there anything I need to know about campaigning against a company online? the legal stuff.

A few of the people posting on the forum have said we should protest outside one of the branches. I believe this is a bad idea and could land us into trouble. What are your thoughts?

To summarise, would like to know what our rights are when campaigning online and what we should be aware of or avoid doing.

Many thanks in advance for your time and help
