Connected with an alleged drink driving offence.

It seemed that the Firearms Department had seen that I was arrested for an alleged drink driving offence and decided to revoke my Firearms Certificate.

I get a knock at the door about 10.15 at night and there were 2 policemen demanding that I hand them my forearms and that my Firearms Certificate had been revoked.

They had no official paperwork with them and, I even had to write out my own receipt for my firearms.

I would have thought that they would have to have some form of official paperwork authorizing them seize my firearms.

Sometime the next night, a letter was left on my under the window wiper of my son's car explaining everything (I suspect that this letter was written after I'd had my firearms seized). And the letter isn't even signed!
