Under the data protection act can companies give out your personal details(address and phone number)to an ex boyfriend without your permission and after you have instructed them not to give out any details to anyone..also under the data protection act can a company who know a person as ms **** falsely put the person down as mrs *** when they know the parties have never been married and the woman has told the company on numerous occassions that she has never been married to the ex and wants her details corrected??? This has been ongoing for 3yrs now is there anything I can do legally against the company for knowingly falsifying documents and having incorrect details on documents???
