    i have been put on electronic tag on bail until my court date i was just wondering IF i really needed to go hospital do you think they would let me go or send someone with me and does my tag have a tracker in it i am innocent ...got spat at by an alcoholic crackhead on a bus and gave him a couple of slaps then got arrested for abh.

    Hi innocent,

    Thanks for posting. If you had to go to hospital in an emergency and didn't have time to contact the monitoring centre or probation officer, you'd need to let them know as soon as possible. You'd probably have to provide written proof explaining why you broke your curfew, for example a medical note, or they may phone the hospital to verify your presence.

    The tag doesn't track your every move but merely lets the monitoring centre know whether you are at home during the hours you are supposed to be.
