ok so this is my second question, as i said in my last one i am currently off sick and awaiting seing a doctor. my employer is getting really funny with me and actually said to me yesterday morning when i phoned up to say i wouldnt be in as iv got a high temp and have been vomiting all night that i HAD to go in to work and i wasnt allowed a day off as know one would be in. so i went in to work was violently sick when i got there and then she got funny with me because i wasnt well and sent me home and today they demanded a sick note from the doctor tomorrow morning despite me saying my appointment wasnt untill the afternoon im now really worried that im going to get the boot because im sick. i phoned the doctor after work had phoned and had an over the phone consoltation and he was really worried and said about running tests to find out what is wrong so my question, can my employer sack me because i am unwell and am not sure what is wrong with me? xox

Thanks for your post. Your employer should not really fire you just for being ill. Especially if you have only been away for a short time and intend to give them a doctor's note.
If you are fired and believe you have been dismissed because you are ill, or because you have asked for Statutory Sick Pay, you may be able to complain to an employment tribunal. You may have to raise a grievance first.
If you are dismissed, you have three months in which to make your claim. If you want further legal advice, try speaking to Contact Law. Alternatively you can contact your local Citizens Advice Bureau.
