I am a UK resident who was working for a large global charity for 6 years earlier base in Oxford and later moved to Kabul, Afghanistan. When I moved to Afghansitan my contract stated that it is under Afghanistan labour laws. However Afghanistan is a country in conflict and does not have a strong judicial system, jst as many of the countries in which this charity works. I was unfrairly and wrongly terminated with one day's notice given. There is not a single blemish on my entire record. Can my case be taken up in a UK Employment Tribunal? My lawyer says I have a very strong case but the charity is challenging that. Are there any such precedents known to anyone?
