I was one of the founders and owners of a private college. We had to bring in investors, with two partners selling their shares. My partner and I had to give away 20% of our shares free to bring the investors on board, so no money for us, they own 80%. The new CEO - a Belarussian here on a Business visa is running the place - in contravention of his visa - and has wanted me out of the company since he joined. I worked hard but could no longer take his behaviour - taking illegal actions - or attitude. This led to me becoming ill - one month ago - and signed off for another two weeks. I said I wished to leave 4 weeks ago, his solicitor said they would come to an agreement but dragged it out. He has replaced me with two new employees, after which he issued a disciplinary hearing on the basis of concocted allegations. I have now resigned, he is refusing the resignation and says that I have to attend the hearing or they will take a decision in my absence. What can I do?
