Hi Im hoping for some answers to a problem at work. I work at a very well known supermarket which prides itself on cleanliness. I have been there for about three years now and have noticed on several occasions that the managerial staff pressure employees to come into work even if they report to having a stomach bug. They mainly only manage to do this to the younger staff as most of us would tell them where to go.
Admittedly they are still in contact with members of the public, cash handling etc and not working in the open food area but I still think there must be some law to them doing this.
If anyone could advise me that would be great but Im thinking of taking things further as not only is it bad for customers, but its not fair on the rest of us employees to be put at risk.
