    Unpaid Leave during Notice Period

    i am leaving my current employment on Jan 6th. The holiday period runs from 1st july to 30th June and i am entitled to 31 days including bank holidays. so I will have been through 6 months so up to now i will be entitled to 15.5 days. However, at this time I have used 17 so i understand that this will be deducted from my next wage.

    My dept is wanting me take 22nd, 23rd, 28th, 29th and 30th off too even through the office will be open - can i be forced to take these days off even though I have no allowance left.

    In Scotland if this makes a difference

    if there is no contract between in you then of course you can leave the job any time but i think every company ask for one month notice period.
