invasion of privacy?

My ex has somehow got information from my facebook wall via one of my "friends" on there. We do not have mutual friends so to me this is all abit strange. It would appear he has gone out of his way to find this out. I now feel like mine and my childrens privacy has been totally invaded. I cannot even be on a totally private social networking site. Is there anything i can do about this and get him to leave me alone?
