    Hi durrani,

Thanks for posting. According to the UK Border Agency website:

British subjects normally cannot pass on that status to their children if the children were born after 1 January 1983. But a child may be a British subject in certain circumstances.

It is unlikely that you have any claim to citizenship. But for further advice you should contact the Border Agency:

    Phone: 0845 010 5200
    Email: ukbanationalityenquiries@ukba.gsi.gov.uk

Opening Hours: Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) 0900 - 1700. During their busy period between 1200 and 1400 you may experience problems speaking to an advisor. It is therefore advisable to call during other times of the day when they are less busy.

    Good luck,
