Hello,

My husband is on the Tier 4 Student visa and I am here in the UK as his dependent. We are also missionaries sent here from our church in the USA. When my husband is done with his PhD we want to remain here as missionaries and also so my husband can work in the Univeristy. I want to transfer from the Tier 4 Student dependent visa to the Tier 2 Religious Worker visa by providing my own sponsorship through my charity with my husband as my dependent Tier 2.

Can we provide our own sponsorship through a charity we've established here in the UK?
Can I apply for the Tier 2 Religious worker visa from within the UK with a Tier 4 Student-Dependent visa?
Can my husband be my dependent on the Tier 2 visa?
Can my husband work in the UK as a Tier 2 dependent and does it need to be of religious affiliation of the Tier 2 visa?
Am I able to work with a Tier 2 visa outside my sponsorship?
How long does the charity have to be established to provide the sponsorship?
Will our charity be awarded a sponsorship license as a non-UK citizen?

Thanks,
Sara
