I am a non-EU citizen studying in a proper British University on a valid Tier4 Student Visa. My dad was not allowed to the UK before I was given my visa and he never told me the reason. Could this affect me anytime? Also, when I came here, my relative added a Utility Bill on my name to get a proof of address in order to open a bank account. However, since he shares the same last name as me (and the bill only showed the last name), he used that Bill he already had to open my bank account. I didnt know it was actually on his name until he showed me the next month's bill where he got the bill with my own first name on it. Meanwhile I had opened a proper student account with another bank using university papers. I canceled the other account instantly then. Is this a criminal offence I have committed and could I be prosecuted and lose my student visa?
