Giving Birth in the uk(urgent)

I just had my baby in the uk last year on a visiting visa, paid my hospital bills and returned back to my home country. My baby is now on a visiting visa status. When is he eligible to become a british citizen?

Hi akuwanta,

Unless you or the baby's father has British citizenship or permission to stay in the UK permanently, your baby will not automatically have the right to British citizenship simply by being born in the country. Your baby will inherit your nationality.
