Hi,
Our story is very complicated but I will shorten as much as possible. We are a family from Serbia with two daughters 13 and 18 years. In Cyprus we have come since 1999 as asylum seekers. Our file is rejected and closed 2010, but we applied for and received humanitarian status in October 2010 because of the long education of our children in the school of Cyprus. All these years Cypriot government has sent only twice a temporary resident permit here called a pink slip, they should give us renewed every six months. My husband also was arrested six years ago as alleged that our visas expired and was 28 days in jail without trial. After 28 days in prison he was let go apparently because of their mistakes. A few days ago the ministry of internal affairs sent us the paper that we have to leave Cyprus. Please consult me what to do and what our rights and the rights of our children who are not able to speak and write their mother language other than Greek Cyprus language. !
We advised the lawyers here but they just tell empty stories and ask for money. Please help us!
Thanks in advance
