I am on a student visa, married to my wife who is a British but she is receiving employment support allowance, housing benefit and council tax benefit. She wants to get out of these social benefits, but the council wrote to her stating that she can't start work yet because of her ill health.

I currently earn about 400 Pounds every month but my friend have promised to be supporting me with 300 ponds every month till i have secured a better job.

Can i apply for my spouse visa with this situation?
