Hi,

I'm 25yrs old and in India doing my Dentistry. I'm not a UK Citizen nor in the family visa. My Mom is settled in the UK (British Citizen) and my father had expired a few years back. I have a sister, who is also a British Citizen.

I have seen the border agency website and noticed the Elderly Dependent rule. But it mentions 'exceptional compassionate circumstances' too. What does it actually mean?

Is there any rule that I be able to join my family and entitled for settlement there other than the Tier 1?Are my chances to join my family less?

I would be very much grateful if you could help me here.
