Hi,

I've been in a relationship for 3 months with someone who is an illegal immigrant. She has told me that she has a chance of staying but I cannot see how unless she gets pregnant but then we won't be able to live together or she will be deported as I would be deemed able to look after the child. The latest I have been told by her is that she sought legal advice and she said I have to sign a form stating I'm her partner and this will prevent her from being arrested and detained on the spot. Does this sound like correct advice?? Sorry if this seems a little vague but i've never found myself in this situation before. I have an Irish passport and living in the UK.
