    VAT Obligations

I run a small hobby business selling dried grasses and flowers. I am not Vat registered because turnover is less than 20000 pounds per year. A nursery shop is offering to sell my products for me on a commission basis. They are VAT registered. My question is does that nursery have to charge VAT on the sale price of the product or only on their percentage of the commission.

    Hi obolix,

Thanks for your post. According to this article about VAT, it seems as though VAT would only be charged on the commission.

    Hope this helps,
