    help

my mum was made my late brothers executor and had a personal injury case against the council on his behalf for compensation, but was time barred all fault of her solicitors which she took action against and got compensated for them making that mistake. she was asked to sign a document meaning that she could not publicize the error of their ways. she has suffered mental illnesses for many years should she have taken all this on on her own , can the case against the council be re opened somehow , the case its self is very complicated and detailed and went on since 2001 to 2008 when it unfortunately was time barred but i know that in very unusual circumstances cases can be brought out with the time scale by the courts any help given would be great.

There is a way. I'm guessing as to what your claim against the council is and about how it happened though. Some more details would be useful, If it is what I'm guessing from the details you have provided it would be possible to "side step" the limitation period/time barred defense.
