I reserved the hotel just 13 days in advance. When I confirmed my schedule, I need to arrive later than planned, but the hotel informed me that i don't have any rights to change my reservation and they'll charge me the whole amount for 2400 pounds in any case.
I was quite astonished by hearing that, since the penalty term for modification of reservation has not been specified inside their booking conditions, how can they decide themselves, I feel being screwed and knowing nothing what to do. Apparently Booking.com is on their side, I feel really being set up by the hotel.
Do I have to adresse certain public services for help? Which one?
Or do you have any suggestions?
I really appreciate your help.
Kindly regards.
