Hello I recently learnt that there is a sanction on my credit file, this sanction comes up on my file as foreign asset control.

can anyone help as to why I have this, and how I can find out why it has been put on my file.

the only information I found whilst searching online is that office of foriegn asset control run by the US government.

I am a normal British Citizen.
